With every app on your phone, there comes a time when a required upgrade needs your attention. If you use the TruVision app to access your cameras from CPSS, then it is time to upgrade your app, in order to ensure your mobile access to your cameras.
If you receive push notifications in the TVRmobile app you will need to upgrade to version 3.0 in order to continue to receive push notifications. The new TVRmobile 3.0 app is available in both the Apple Store and Android Market.
Here are the instructions on how to set up push notifications:
Push notifications are turned off by default in TVRmobile 3.0. To activate push notifications in the app, follow these three simple steps:
- Select Settings > Alarms.
- Set Alarm Notification.
- Slide the button to Turn push notifications on.
TVRmobile 3.0 is also now a universal app designed to run on both phones and tablets. If you are running TVRmobile 3.0 on a tablet, you will need to re-add your TruVision hardware devices in the app.
